Hello, long time no see!

This is just a quick video to remind you that our summer tour series is starting tomorrow.
This is the official tour poster.

Our trip in January went really well. We had so much fun travelling around New Zealand, sightseeing, swimming, surfing, wine tasting ... and sending postcards too, of course.

Thank you to everyone who sent their address. We sent postcards from all over New Zealand to places all over the world like Mexico, Germany, Japan, the United States. You’ll be able to see where we sent the postcards each day in the series.

And I even got a postcard back from the Czech Republic which was very cool.

This summer tour series is going to be 31 videos and we will take you right around the coast of New Zealand. And I hope you’ll enjoy it.

And then we’ll be back with the regular shows on the yellow couch in May.

You may have noticed we delayed the series for a month after the earthquake in Christchurch. And things have been so tough for so many people in Christchurch and Japan and our love and thoughts are still with them.

It’s been so depressing following the news over the past month, but it has been great to see so many people doing what they can to help - whether it’s donating time or money, or organizing or attending fundraising events.

One thing I wanted to tell you about, in case you haven’t heard about it already, is Quakebook. It’s a book that was written to raise funds to help victims of the disaster in Japan. If you want to buy the book, please go to quakebook.org. I think it could be a good way to do some reading practice to help improve your English - and also to help people in Japan at the same time.

Another thing that I’d like to mention is a video that’s just been uploaded by JenniferESL on YouTube. She made a pronunciation video featuring me - I recorded it in this same park actually - and Jennifer, who’s American and Phil who’s from England. We all read the same list of words. So it’s really interesting to see the differences in how we pronounce the same words. So please follow the link and go and check that out.

And that’s all for today.

We’d love it if you could help us spread the word about the summer tour series - on Twitter or Facebook or wherever you like to hang out online or offline.

Thank you for watching. And I’ll see you tomorrow. Bye!
